Our Academy

MENSPIRE education began in 2013 with weekly travels across the country, eventually establishing a small premises in January 2016, attracting students from around the globe. In May 2019, we opened the doors to the brand new MENSPIRE Academy based in St Albans, now our official HQ, known for its impressive size and innovative design.

 

The Academy features a minimalist, futuristic aesthetic that fosters an environment of open-mindedness, learning, and growth. Unique elements like moveable stations offer complete flexibility, allowing the space to adapt to different class sizes and purposes. The Academy boasts a spacious layout with a 5-meter wide presentation stage, a pure white infinity cove studio for in-house film and photography, and a stylish office area ideal for admin or private tuition. Whether you’re here to reignite your passion or reinvent yourself, the MENSPIRE Academy is the perfect place to cultivate your well-being and creativity.

Our Educators 

Jeffrey Batista

My name is Jeffrey Batista, and I am proud to represent MENSPIRE, a brand that has defined the benchmark for men’s grooming for over a decade. With six years of industry experience, my journey into education began at our Flagship Academy in St Albans, delivering the intensive 12-week Foundations Programme.
I have developed under the direct mentorship of Josh Lamonaca, giving me a high-level foundation in both technical skill and education. Since officially becoming an educator in 2024, I have led multiple sold-out professional courses at MENSPIRE Academy UK, while also traveling across Europe and North America to teach and perform shows for international audiences.
In 2026, I am reaching a milestone by launching the MENSPIRE Academy Glasgow. This project is a point of immense pride, as I bring the MENSPIRE methodology home to Scotland. I believe the best way to elevate the industry is by investing in the next generation, and I am honored to lead the development of future talent within the Scottish hair community.
